During the week of January 25th-29 Sierra Linda students and teachers participated in their winter sports spirit week called, Hoopscoming.
This spirit week was inspired by the classic Disney channel movie High School musical. The week consisted of Monday Get’cha head in the game wearing your favorite sports team gear. Tuesday was Mix it up students wore tie dye. Wednesday, Stick to the status quo everyone wore all black. Thursday, The Boys Are Back dressing up as your favorite decade, and Friday We’re All In This Together wearing our class colors.
It was a great week to celebrate the movie’s ten year anniversary, especially for seniors who grew up watching the musical and finally got to experience high school in the East High.
