Are Headphones and Earphones Dangerous?

Safety concern around the school campus.

Headphone and earphone safety is a concern on the school campus. Students put headphones and earphones on everyday and it’s a danger to students.

For example, students wouldn’t be paying much attention when wearing headphones and earphones.  Students usually put their music extremely loud at the point when they can’t hear anyone. They probably might not even hear a fire alarm or a lockdown being announced.

I talked to students and teachers around the campus for their reaction.

“Wearing two earphones are a problem, when you wear both you can barely hear anyone; one earphone isn’t a problem because you could still hear.”

In conclusion, for your safety, lower your volume on your headphone and earphones.
