On December 10th 2016 the Sierra Linda  High School Cheer Competition team competed at Buckeye High School against 20 other cheer competition teams  from Arizona. There was also pom teams (dancing with poms) that competed as well. Coach Perez and her competition team have been practicing for this competition since July.

Their performance was great but unfortunately they didn’t qualify for state. But they will have another chance on February when they will compete again to qualify for state.

Head coach Sushyla Perez said,  ” I am very very very proud of their performance.. They went out and gave it their all. I couldn’t be happier with their performance .We have some things to change for February but we are excited!”
