Every wonder why the Teen Lifeline number is on the back of your ID? The rate of suicides is much higher then you may think. It is estimated that someone ends their life every 40 seconds worldwide. The health research funding states that the number of suicides a year is estimated to be about a million. This is shocking and a very unfortunate thing to know. The worst part is they estimate that the U.S. is ranked  33 in suicide.Suicide is the second leading cause of death for ages 10-24. The Jason Foundation says that Four out of Five teens who attempt suicide have given clear warning signs.
