Lil Yachty dropped his third studio album, and second album of the year on October 19, 2018. This project was meant to be set at a low bar. As he said in the title, he has nothing to prove. He has been working on re branding himself, which is what he dropped this album for. When he dropped “Teenage Emotions”, that put him high on the list of “bubblegum trap”, but his fans were disappointed. After all of that, he dropped his second album, “Lil Boat 2.” This album received a much more positive light. “Nuthin’ 2 Prove” is meant to send off a very nonchalant attitude and maybe say something to his fans or critics. In my opinion, I like the album and it’s simplicity. He has some good features on the album including: Juice WRLD, Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, Trippie Redd, Gunna, Kevin Gates, Young Nudy, Cardi B, and Offset.
