Most Americans don’t know how many hours of sleep they should get per day and how it has an effect on our lives. Sleep requirements vary slightly from age. Most healthy adults need 7 to 9 hours of sleep. Children in teens need even more. However older people need at least 7 hours. Sleep helps us function and restores our bodies health so that we can perform at the best of our ability.
