Over the last two weeks, Brockhampton frontman Kevin Abstract released two EPs, each complete with three new tracks. On Thursday, April 25, Abstract released Arizona Baby – the full album, complete with 11 songs, five of which were never heard before. The album takes a look at Abstract’s life and career, as he struggles with his relationships, his home and his sexuality, all while being the amazing artist and performer that he is. Arizona Baby was a collaborative effort. On the song “Peach,” fellow Brockhampton members Dominic Fike, Joba and Bearface provide a chorus and appear in the song’s video. On “Crumble,” Abstract teams up with Jack Antonoff, who produced the entire record, for an emotional ballad. Kevin Abstract took time on Twitter to thank his fans and said he wasn’t concerned about streams or sales, just the experience. I have listened to this album multiple times and I enjoy it a lot. I would recommend you give this album a try, or just Kevin Abstract in general.
