Sierra Linda loses homecoming game

On Friday the 26th Shadow Ridge beat the Bulldogs 53 – 28.

Rallied up from the crowd the Bulldogs played well, but not well enough allowing Shadow Ridge to score twice before the end of the first quarter. Bulldogs returned with their own touch down in the second quarter, putting them on the score board.  The Bulldogs defense was ruthless stopping multiple plays causing a turnover giving the Bulldogs the chance to score again. Shadow Ridge was able to score twice more before half time furthering their lead to 21-14 Bulldogs trailing behind is 7.

Returning from the locker rooms the Bulldogs were filled with new energy, scoring once in the third quarter showing the Stallions that they were there to play football. After they scored the ball began moving back and forth across the field. Neither team giving away to the pressure of the other.  The Stallions found an answer and scored two more times before the end of the third quarter.  Sierra Linda began losing hope during the fourth quarter only scoring their final touchdown but giving up two more touchdowns to the Stallions.

The team is now 1-4
