Recently floods have been becoming common in Arizona. I’ve seen floods wash away homes, and cover cars. Sometimes the floods are not as big or as bad but they still manage to ruin things.

I have not be affected by a flood directly but I do have family members who have been through a flood or two. And every time it gets harder, after finally finishing replacing all the things that the flood damage, here comes another one waiting to wash everything away again.

In my opinion I think that floods are a tragic part of living, because thinking about how I would feel if I finally got my house and all my belongings the way I want them only to be destroyed by something that you didn’t have time to plan for something that came out from know where so quickly. Having to rebuild everything back up from the ground knowing how long it took you to do it the first time.

At the same time I think that as saddening as floods are they seem to bring family and friends closer together. Because in a time of need it is normal for people to ban together and help each other.
