Is Sweep the one classroom that students don’t dread going to a few times a day or a few times a week? Sweep was made as punishment for students who were late to class but now it’s the other way around, students would rather be in sweep than in the classroom.

OCR is what comes from having too many sweeps it takes up to 5 sweeps or more for a student to get into OCR or unless they get into some other kind of trouble. It’s where students have to stay in one room all day long and do just about everything they were choosing to skip class for in the first place, their work.

Was sweep meant to be used for detention or a room students are using to their advantage to escape the tortures of class?
