Looking for a sweet and sour taste of Chinese food, New Asian Star has that sweet and sour taste you’re looking for.

On Wednesday, January 28th I took a visit to New Asian Star Chinese Restaurant which is located in South Tolleson at 2755 S. 99th Ave. #102.

I ordered a Coca-Cola to drink, I had egg drop soup accompanied by a little plate of to begin and to eat I ordered the number 6 on the lunch menu which consisted of Mongolian chicken and a side of fried rice with an egg roll and a fried wonton.

The chicken was spicy and had a sour taste to it, the rice was steamed and had a teriyaki flavor. The fried wonton was also very delicious and I also had a vegetable egg roll.

The food was savory and extremely enjoyable! All for just the cost of $14.85. Their hours are Tues-Thurs 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m., Fri-Sat 10:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m., Sunday 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m., and closed Mondays.

My ranking on this restaurant is 4 out of 5 bones.
