Minecraft or Mine-suck?

Victor Durueke, Staff Writer

Minecraft is an open environment 3D Block game created by Markus Pearson of the company Mojang. The games objective is as clear as life, survival and having fun, but there are ways to get about that as we all know. You can collect items and build things from scratch, that is once you have figured out how to. For beginners I would recommend playing the tutorial world the game has already set up for you, it is sort of a hands on walk through guide.

From slime to cave spiders to the ender men and ender dragon players must fight through the night and fend off creatures that stir in the dark until day break when those monsters who aren’t vanquished by the sun become unhostile, that is except for the green menacing suicide bomber known as a creeper, steer clear of those.

The game was originally just a build it block game but as time progressed so did the mind of the creator but they have still kept their peaceful game mode as well as the survival. Over all it is a great game that I would recommend to children of any age group. I rate the game a 4.5 out of 5 bones.
