On Thursday April 23rd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the P.A.W.S Leadership Team hosted the annual spring Future Freshman Night that displayed all the activities, clubs and sports that Sierra Linda has to offer.

The night started off with a demonstration in the gym welcoming parents and future freshman. Then the crowd moved outside where the clubs had dancing, games, and food to give out to the future freshman and their parents. Clubs had tables displayed throughout the campus showing their accomplishments. Future freshman walked around asking questions about what the clubs do and how they can join.

The P.A.W.S team worked as one to make this night happen and it was a job well done. The leader behind the set up was PBIS and prevention administrator, Yesmina Luchsinger, and freshman counselor, Daisy Hernandez.

“I think the event went really well. We gave away about 200 prize bags, FCCLA served about 100 meals and there was a great amount of staff and students that showed up.” Said Luchsinger.
She was asked about what she hopes for next year, “I hope the event continues to grow and it stays as a tradition here at Sierra Linda.”
