Beware of the weeping angels

Sierra Linda high school Theater Club held their Fall play titled “Blink “on Thursday October 29 and Friday October 30th in the cafeteria.
The play is based on a famous show called Doctor Who is a time traveler. The episode is about the scariest enemies and the weeping angles. The weeping angels appeared to be statue as long as you’re not looking at them.
In the play the doctor, a time traveling alien and his companion, Martha Jones are trapped in the past and are trying to communicate with a young woman Sally Sparrow to prevent the sweeping angles from taking control of the tardis.
Club advisor and play director Ms. Diana Givens said, ““I’m a huge doctor who fan, so getting a chance to do a play with the students was a blast. It was an excellent challenge adapting the TV episode “Blink” to the stage.
In the end, the play was a good turn out and everyone enjoyed it. Cast members were Sally: Avery Tuffentsamer, Kathy: Natalia Vasquez, Larry: Sylvester Favela, Malcolm: Seth perea, Ben: Luis “Diego, Desk Sargent: Angelina Cabello, Billy: Kyree Wortham, Doctor: Luis “Diego” nides, Martha: Melanie Diaz. And the angels are Peaches (Guadalupe) Vasquez, Daniela Martinez, Andrea Yates, Karla Rangel, and Kyla Maeda.
Melanie Diaz said “Blink was a wonderful production that presented new challenges that we had to come together to overcome. Overall that was a great experience that helped us become closer as an organization”
