The 2016 Slam Dunk Contest

One to remember, Zach LaVine wins it again

On Saturday February 13, Zach LaVine won the 2016 NBA Slam Dunk contest for the second year in a row at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The 2016 NBA Dunk Contest was incredible.

There were a handful of dunks that could have easily been the best dunk of the night. The players in the Slam Dunk  Contest were  Denver Nuggets’ Will Barton, Detroit Pistons’ Andre Drummond, Orlando Magic’s Aaron Gordon and the reigning champ, Minnesota Timberwolves’ Zach LaVine.

There were 3 rounds. In the first 2 rounds Will Barton and Andre Drummond got knocked out. It came down to Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine who tied in the third round so Zach LaVine beat Aaron Gordon in the final sudden death round by 3 points.

The judges where  NBA legends Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Tracy McGrady, Dikembe Mutombo and George Gervin.
