Isaiah Vigil, 17, manages his own clothing company named Prmannt. He started this company because of inspiration that came from his father.

What got you motivated to start your own clothing line?

My dad was a graphic designer, I got my talent from my dad

and I try to influence that in everything I do.

What struggles did you go through while staring your
clothing line?

Just money, money was the only thing, and also trying to put it into

the company.

How do you come up with your styles for the shirts?

I first think about just other brands and think, “They’re

going out of their ways and doing this big thing”. Sometimes

my dad just tells me to keep it simple, so with the first shirt

I just made it simple to where it just had the name so people

would know what it was the whole time. For the next one I’m

doing more like  graphics and more of my drawings

conservative into the brand. So that’s where it

came from.

How long did it take you to start your line?

I came up with the name in 2014, I didn’t really

think of much of it, it was just my artist name;

then my brother’s friend came up to me, which

was during 2015, and hetold me that I should make it into a brand; and

ever since I started it, two weeks later I started

selling some of my clothes, made around $150,

bought 63 shirts, made 5 designs, and

I printed them that weekend. That

following week I  sold 5 shirts, but I was

selling the shirts each for $25, so it took

about a year.

Is it difficult to manage your clothing line, school/friends, and work

at the same time?

I didn’t have a real job when the line first started, 2 months later I then

got a real job; but everything works out and I don’t really hang

out with my friends. I just do me and I’m always by myself, so therefore I have that extra time.

Do you make good profit off of your clothing line?

With the first drop I made about $70, so not for me. I made somewhere past

$100 of profit, but all the rest of it is

just going to go to the next drop. The next drop is

going to have hats, shirts, and jackets.

How much are your products?

The shirts are $15 each, hats will be $25, and the jackets will be $40.

What are your hopes for the future dealing with

your company?

Company wise, I feel like I have enough connects with

other people like my dad and a lot of people who know

store owners  where I can put my clothes into their stores.

Right now I’m trying to get my clothes good

enough to where I can get them into a store called

High Point in Tucson.
