Spring Fashion Show displays unique creations

On Thursday May 5th the Fashion class held its’ 2nd Annual Fashion Show at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria in front of an audience of 75 people. The MC for the event was senior Toshaun Thomas. Judges were Assistant Principal Christina Valenzuela and English teacher Kristina Erickson.
Fashion teacher Mrs. Hollingsworth, was in charge of the event that had 22 models taking over the runaway. The theme of the event was “Redefined and Redesigns” . It was all about getting any kind of material and making it into in various outfits such as dresses, skirts, and shirts.
When asked what was her favorite piece from the collection Hollingsworth said, “I cant say I had a favorite. They were all nice pieces. I do know all the students worked hard and that they were all my favorite”.
Some of the dresses included flowers, newspapers, playing cards and paper plates. The fashion show was a success and showed all the students from both behind the scene designers and models amazing talents. The models rocked the run way showing a lot of confidence to the crowd of proud parents, staff , and friends.
How did you feel when you were walking the runaway?
“I felt amazing. Its’ like a great experiences and I am glad I got to do it three times before graduating.”
