Ruth B., a young 20 year old Canadian, is a new artist in the music industry. She has recently come out with a hit called “LOST BOY”. In the song, she demonstrates her piano skills and her mesmerizing vocals.

She started off by posting her music on the famous app VINE. After creating “LOST BOY” she had made another song “Golden” with her outburst of creativity. Her song “LOST BOY” initially was not a song, she had just posted the fictional story with a melody on Vine, and that is how her song has came about.

Her influences are Lauryn Hill, The Beatles , Carole King, Grouplove, Adele, Taylor Swift, and many more.

“I wrote and produced the EP myself,” Ruth says. “I think for me writing is a very intimate process and in a sense I’m always writing now. I don’t really sit to ‘write a song’. It’s always going on in my head. ‘Lost Boy’ was the first song I had ever written, but now I have about 14 songs under my belt. But I’m always coming up with ideas and always documenting my experiences.”
