In Arizona there was once a time where laws were made that are odd and outrageous. Many wonder what could have possibly gone wrong that they had to make a law about it. Here are some examples to make you question the predicaments and laugh at the ridiculousness.

In certain areas of Arizona

  1. In Prescott, no one is allowed to ride their horse up the stairs of the county court house.
  2. In Maricopa County, more than six girls living in a house is illegal.
  3. In Hayden, bothering the cottontails or bullfrogs will get you a fine.

In all of Arizona

  1. You can get 25 years in prison for cutting down a cactus because of the endangerment of it.
  2. It is unlawful to refuse a person a glass of water. This is because of the temperatures reaching heights of 120 degrees and normally applies to convenience stores.

Some were most definitely weird and confusing on how they came to be in the first place. And believe it or not but Arizona isn’t the only state to have these weird laws. There’s even stranger ones everywhere else.
