Frida Kahlo

The Heard Museum in Phoenix is presenting art work by Frida Kahlo. Sierra Linda’s art club attended the Museum on a school field trip to view the famous art work. Frida Kahlo’s work is a great experience for any aspiring artist. Phoenix is very lucky to have the artwork available to view in town. Frida Kahlo’s artwork is on a world tour right now and Phoenix is the only stop in North America. Many art club members are excited to be getting the opportunity to view her work. Valeria – Art club member says “ I’ve been wanting to view her art for a while, it’s a great opportunity”, she also says Frida is one of her favorite artist. Heather Heece a member of art club says she’s excited to see new and different artwork. For me, the Heard museum was an amazing experience to view the artwork on display for the first time. Learning about Frida and her inspiration for her work really helped me to understand how she felt in her paintings.
