9/11

Alexander Camarena, Digital Journalist

16 years ago America had witnessed one of the worst days in national history. Seeing two planes crash into the two highest buildings in New York City called “The Twin Towers”. It was a scary day because it wasn’t expected. I mean it was a terrorist attack meaning it was planned/set up. There are many conspiracy theories about the 9/11 attack, one being blamed on George Bush. The things the twin towers were made of was tough metals , meaning the plane wouldn’t be able to fly all the way through the building.

To think that there were many layers of thick metal, makes you think if it really was set up by our supposed trusted government. People devastated as they start to see people jump pout of the two towers as they burn. People running because of the smoke and destruction coming from the falling towers. Only minutes later, we hear that a plane has crashed in the pentagon. The Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda attacks killed 2,996 people, injured over 6,000, and caused at least $10 billion in infrastructure and property damage. Never will we forget the day we witnessed terror on our country. Always remember this date, 9/11.
