DACA is The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. It protects eligible immigrant youths who came to the United States when they were children from deportation. It helps them in big ways such as in giving them a work permit, protecting them from deportation, getting an education and overall helping them with their life, giving them a chance just like everyone else has in America. But Trump has decided he’s going to end DACA, he stated that, “those in the country illegally are lawbreakers,” his supporters also agree with this statement and have said it multiple

times to defend their side as to why DACA should end. But as they don’t look into this program, it says in order to be eligible for DACA, you cannot have convicted a felony before. Mr. Session added that this program, “denied jobs to hundreds of thousands of Americans by allowing those same illegal aliens to take those jobs.” As many may argue that Dreamers take all the jobs and get all the money to go to college, they just don’t get these things handed to them, they have to do good in school to proceed to college, they have to go out there and give a good interview to get a job, just like everyone else.  These Dreamers trusted the government with all of their personal information, they weren’t scared of deportation every moment.
They were able to get Social Security numbers, a driver licenses, go to work, get an education, buy cars and homes, and start businesses. As they were brought here as children many of them don’t even remember the way of their countries that they came from, so they are considered Americans. But soon, they will be losing their education, their businesses, their homes and the legal right to be in this country. Deportation would be on their mind 24/7. DACA has had such a great impact on so many people’s lives, to be exact 800,000 at the moment. Ending it has to be one the cruelest things Trump has done so far.
