The White Stripes are an American rock duo that formed in 1997, with the band consisting of two band members named Jack White and Meg White. The White Stripes have released many great studio albums and EPs; my personal favorites albums has to be elephant, white blood cells, and get behind me Satan. They went from being a local garage band to now winning awards and being on MTV. Their studio album “Elephant” that was recorded in ten days, was certified platinum after selling a million copies, and they have two Grammy’s and an MTV music video awards for their hard work. Apparently, according to the drummer Meg White, she that they will be taking a huge break from making music but they will make a huge comeback in 2018.
