On August 17, 2018 the Sierra Linda high school had their first home football game. Successfully the bulldogs took the victory and won! 29-19. While the bulldog boys were working hard on the field they also had their wonderful support system the cheerleaders. Cheerleaders have a lot to take in when having to go to all the football games. They have to make sure they all look good and everyone is on track. I recently made the varsity cheer team and it has been an amazing experience! Everyone works very hard at every practices, we all got long right when we met. Cheerleaders don’t just stand around and look pretty, they have boundaries, they have to drink lots of water they need to work out , stretch a lot! Cheerleading is a sport just like volleyball , soccer, basketball, etc. The Sierra Linda high school cheer coach is amazing she is always on top of her work, she always has new ideas we can do, she’s had lost of experience with cheering. The cheer girls are all like sisters we call it “cheer sisters”. Overall cheerleading is lots of fun but also a lot of work.
