Person of Interest is an American science fiction crime drama television series created by Jonathan Nolan that premiered on September 22, 2011 on CBS.
The show introduces more arranged storyline and its exploration of artificial intelligence.
It has a good cast. Jim Caviezel, as john Reese, Michael Emerson as Harold Finch; who team up as vigilante crime fighting team.
Finch is a billionaire software genius who teams up with John Reese who is presumed dead using Finch’s program which employs pattern recognition to determine individuals who will soon be involved in violent crimes they combine Reese covert operation training and finch’s money and cyber skills to stop crimes before they happen.
The machine is an artificially intelligent mass surveillance system that is able to accurately predict premeditate violent crimes by monitoring and analyzing all surveillance cameras and electronic communication worldwide. Built by Harold Finch following the event of 9/11.
Much of the series is from the point of view of the machine with flash back framed as the machine reviews real tapes in real times.
