On Tuesday October 20th the varsity volleyball team had their last home game of the season against the Demons of Dysart high school losing their match in 3- 0 sets.

The last two sets the Lady Bulldogs made it a tough game and challenged the Demons to fight for the wins.

“I feel like we played very hard, but it wasn’t good enough to come out on top.” Said junior Kayla Arcilla

On a brighter note it was Senior Night and with the only senior on the team being Mayra Chavez the Lady Bulldogs made it Mayra Night. The team signed a game ball, poster, and flowers before the game.

“I have been waiting 4 years for senior night. After the game it was overwhelming that I was the only senior, but I’m glad that the team I had was with me. It was heartwarming and heart breaking” said Mayra Chavez about being the only senior.

The team next game is Estrella Foothills high school on Thursday, October 22 at 6 p.m.
