Congratulations to the SLHS Cafeteria Manager Matthew Silva and his dedicated staff for receiving an A on their recent Arizona Health Department inspection. Not only is the cafeteria clean, but Mathew and his staff happily serve over 1700 students daily

Principal Tim Madrid made it a point to stop by and let the staff know how much he appreciates their effort.

“It takes a team to run a school our size and Mathew and his staff are a big part of it. We are all proud of their dedication to our food services.” Madrid said.

How do you feel about being rated an A?

“I’m very fortunate to have the team I do. They work really hard and since I’ve been here this is our 4th time being rated an A staff.” said Silva

How do you feel about what Matthew has done with the staff since he’s got here?

“Since he’s got here everyone been a lot more happy and what the staff likes most is he comes into the kitchen and helps. “said Kathy the cook
