The 5th wave movie is here!
The movie hit theaters on Friday, January 22. and made $38 million worldwide at the box office. The reviews weren’t as good as everyone expected it would have been, since the reviewers gave the movie a 5.7 out 0f 10, in which got a D+ in total, but people are going around saying that the reviews were wrong and that the movie was actually a really good movie.
This movie is based upon the young adult, science fiction novel, where the human race is at the edge of extinction, in where the world was hit with a series of waves, causing earthquakes, tsunamis, and diseases. The teenage girl, Cassie Sullivan (Chloe Grace Moretz), who was separated from her family is on a mission to find her little brother Sammy ( Zackary Arthur) and will do whatever it takes to recuse him. Her fate leads towards a man by the name of Evan Walker (Alex Roe) a young man who helped her get well and promised to help her find her little brother. Cassie had no other choice but to forcefully trust Evan and having to fight for her life as the ‘Others’ prepare themselves for a 5th wave.
Lets see what our student’s here in Sierra Linda think about the movie and if they think if the reviewers were right.
