On Friday September 30th the Bulldogs took on the Liberty Lions in a tough game losing 62-7 at Sierra Linda high school.

The Bulldogs had a difficulty moving the ball down the field only scoring 7 points in the first half. The defense had bad luck  with not being able to stop the big cats from allowing them to score 42 points in the first half.

“Our team is very young and our young guys are impressive. They are getting better they don’t give up and we have winnable games coming up. I believe everyone is going to step up.”  said head coach Luie Contreras

In the second half, the  Bulldogs came out stronger with the offense moving the ball better than they did in the first. However, still struggled to get it into the end zone, but the defense came together only letting Liberty score 20 points in the second half.

” I feel like the offense moves the ball well when we do our assignments. Once we get our tempo moving nobody can stop us.” said senior offense of line men Carlos Duarte
