“Wings”

On October 10, 2016 South Korean boy band, BTS, released an album titled “Wings”. The album contains 15 songs. The songs were written by the members themselves and other writers. Although the members usually all sing together, 7 out of the 15 songs are solo songs. Before the album was released, the group released a series of short films. The films were used to promote each of the members solo song.
The album is very successful. It broke many international records. The album was #26 on the Billboard 200. Thus making it the highest charting and best selling K-pop album on the chart. According to the Gaon chart, Wings was the highest selling album in Gaon history. It was also the best-selling album of 2016 in South Korea.

The album was re-released on February 13, 2017 under the title, “You Never Walk Alone”. The re-released album included 4 more songs.
