From the start of the fight, about the first 4 rounds, McGregor and Mayweather were able to be head to head. McGregor with the constant jabs and Mayweather with his minimal accurate shots. After the 5th round, McGregor progressively got more sloppy. McGregor became more sluggish while Mayweather’s plan was working. Mayweather’s plan was to let McGregor try to go all out at first so he would become sluggish throughout the rest of the fight while he maintains himself and not go all out. Round 10, the last match of the fight. Mayweather eventually continuously kept on getting accurate shots and the referee had to call knockout by technicality. After the fight, both Mayweather and McGregor, showed great sportsmanship after words despite all the slander thrown at each other before the main event. Mayweather gets to retire his career with a flawless 50-0 winning streak.
