The flu season is upon us and it’s bad. This years flu is the most severe in years. Flu is a contagious, viral illness that causes mild to severe symptoms that can sometimes lead to death. Ten children died in the week ending Jan. 13, bringing the total number of pediatric deaths this flu season to 30. The flu season started early this year and many people were unprepared. If you haven’t taken your flu shot, you should avoid contact with others who are sick, and stay healthy.
