The Bulldog’s boys’ varsity basketball team had a close game against the Buckeye Hawks losing 71-65 on January 9 at Sierra Linda high school.

After winning their last game, The Bulldogs tried to add on other win to their record but fell short of it which makes them 9-5. Ln the first half the team played with intensity, but not good enough. The Bulldog’s played a dissent first half in keeping up with the Hawk’s even though they were trailing by the half 31-37

‘’Were not happy with how we played that’s for sure. We expected to come out harder.’’ said coach Haagensen

 

The Bulldog’s came out strong in the second half and played head to head with the Hawks. The Bulldog’s fell short in the last seconds of the game. The team’s top scorer was Shooting guard Dontae A with 20 point
