September 11, 2015
Coach Diaz and the volleyball team are excited to start this upcoming season and are working hard to achieve their goals. Diaz tells Dawg Pound Media reporters, “My goal is to have the girls work hard as a team and have their playing level increase as a team.”
Their season started on September 1 at the Sierra Linda gymnasium at 6:00pm against Moon Valley. The cost for the game is $5 per person. However, with a student ID, you can get in for $4. The Freshman play at 4:00pm and the Junior Varsity team plays at 5:00 pm.
Members of the team this year are Stephanie Najera, Kayla Arcilla, Tae Williams, Heaven Thomas, Vanessa Ruiz, Breanna la Bombard, Angelique Martinez, Kassandra Rodriguez, Samantha Muñoz, and Mayra Chavez. There are no returning players from last year’s roster.
Junior outside hitter, Samantha Muñoz, states, “My goal is to be the very best I can be and I feel that this season is going to be great!”
Lets go out and support our girls for their thrilling new season!

I thought that Destiny and Kimberlyn’s story was fantastic it perfectly describes what happened as if I was there myself now I know what I missed out on and if I miss out again I wont have to worry about it because they give me all the information I need although it could use a little more detail however its a wonderful story and I feel this paper deserves at least a B and at most an a it honestly blew me away I was shocked at what talent was possessed into this paper.
