Newspaper had some questions for Mr. Madrid to get to the bottom of it.

1. Why is the school getting painted?
2. The school is being painted because the paint that was there was fading badly, especially the red.
3. When is it supposed to be finished?
4. By the end of February.
5. Who’s painting the school?
6. The contractor’s name is Pete King.
7. What made you choose those colors?
8. The teachers wanted the same colors but the red faded really bad that the contractor is only painting the school beige.

We asked students their opinion on how the feel about the new color.

Freshmen Joseluis Vargas Ortega said “I don’t like it because it’s the same color.”

Freshman Noah Solomon said “Yes I like the new colors because it brings change.”

Freshman David Barajas said “No I don’t like the new colors because they are not good colors.”
