What was your reaction when you found out you were selected?

“I was really surprised when I was accepted in the program because I do not have much experience in other areas except for academics. Enrolling in a program to state level and being accepted is an honor.” Said Maria Heredia

When did you find out you got accepted?

“I found out I got accepted in the last week of March.”

What is the point of this program?

“To teach potential leaders leadership and communication skills by helping the community.”

Why did you want to do this program?

“Since I have been in the United States I have been focusing my attention on academics leaving my leadership character I used to have in Mexico as a second priority. I enrolled in this program because I want to learn more about this new community and learn leadership skills from well-qualified educators in an environment with diverse kind of leaders.”
