New Year new S.T.U.G.O

It’s the beginning of a new school year, and a new Student Government leader has been chosen by Mr. Madrid. . Math teacher Mrs. Arviso has accepted the role of becoming the school’s new a S.T.U.G.O advisor.

 

She and the STUGO members have plans to make this a great year. We asked her a few questions.

Q: What made you want to become an S.T.U.G.O leader?

“I used to only do school counsel in my old school I worked at, when the position opened, I decided I would take a shot at it.”

Q: Do you enjoy being the S.T.U.G.O leader?

“Yes I do, you get to see the kids in a different light, and you get to work with them in a different way than you would in a classroom.”

Q: What are somethings you have plan for this year?

Were going to a leadership conference in September as a group, we also have homecoming in October, and Winter formal is also coming up, We’re also trying to keep doing Bulldog Friday’s in the cafeteria.”

Q: What did you think about the dance?

“I think it was awesome, many kids showed up and the D.J. was great.”

Q: What do you think about the spirit for the first home game?

“I was impressed a lot of kids showed up, I wish the turn out would have been different, but the team did great.”
