For the month of February Kuayveon Dyer and Janae Gonzales were nominated student athletes of the month in the Tolleson Union High School District.

Kuayveon Dyer – Wrestling

Kuayveon finished his final wrestling career with a 40-5 record, winning three tournaments including a sectional championship. His future endeavors include college and potentially wrestling at an accredited post-secondary school.

Janae Gonzales – Basketball
Nominated by Coach Desirae Carranza

Janae is a sophomore starter for our girls basketball team and she has been since she came to us as a freshman. She is currently leading the league in 3-point field goal percentage and averages 20 points, 3 steals, and 4 rebounds per game. Janae just hit 1,067-career point as a Bulldog and ranks as one of the top scorers in the state.
