2017 is the year…the year for new music. Many artists have released information for their upcoming albums this year and here are just a few:

Kendrick Lamar‘s album Damn comes out April 14th and features Rihanna and U2.

Kanye West is releasing a new album sometime this year called, Turbo Grafx 16. Unfortunately, an album cover has not been released but a tracklist has come out but is not official. The songs are nintendo wii games: Okami, Pikmin 2, Red Steel 2, Silent Hill, and Super Mario Galaxy Pt 1 and Pt 2. Migos member Quavo posted an all-star studio picture on March 30th. It was captioned “TURBO.” Big Sean, Vic Mensa, Lil Yachty and Kanye West are seen in the photo. Kid Cudi is a confirmed feature on the album.

Mac DeMarco also spoke about his experience and challenges with his album,“I demoed a full album, and as I was moving to the West Coast I thought I’d get to finishing it quickly. But then I realized that moving to a new city, and starting a new life takes time. Usually I just write, record, and put it out; no problem. But this time, I wrote them and they sat. When that happens, you really get to know the songs. It was a different vibe.” DeMarco continued, “The majority of this album is acoustic guitar, synthesizer, some drum machine, and one song is electric guitar. So this is a new thing for me.”“This Old Dog will come out on May 5 2017.

On April 11th, 2017 Lana Del Rey revealed her much anticipated album cover for Lust for Life. Lana is all smiles with daisies in her hair just like her music video for her single, Love which is a part of her track-list for Lust for Life. The Weeknd is one of the confirmed features on her upcoming album. Lust for Life is said to come out May 26th.
