From the fashion to the performances and the stunning starts that attended the MTV 2014 VMAS it was the hottest night of music.

As the stars walked on the red carpet in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, August 24, the VMA nominees Charli XCX and Fifth Harmony started the party by performing on the red carpet.

The night included so many amazing performances from many of today’s top artist.  Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and Jessie J started off the show with a jaw dropping performance of their hit collaboration Bang Bang.

Through all the awards and performances and even the heart touching contribution to Robin Williams,   the highlight of the night had to be the final performance by Beyoncé as she took on the stage singing her latest hit songs; while tearing up at the end when her husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy stood by her side as she accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award.
